Artist’s Statement

Like my daily practice of walking in nature, creating art is a meditative process. I take each step—both in nature and in my art—without a fixed destination, allowing the journey to unfold organically. I find joy in collecting specimens, mementos, and images, letting ideas percolate before diving into the hands-on act of making art when inspiration strikes.

I have been painting and creating since first grade, and over time, my work has evolved. Printmaking has become a central focus, pursued as a formal contemporary medium. My journey has led to 12 solo exhibitions, participation in over 50 juried shows across New England and the USA, and numerous awards and grants.

Nestled in a garden setting, my studio in the heart of New Hampshire’s Monadnock Region is equipped with an etching press, four dedicated workstations, and a small viewing gallery.

For me, art is a journey—one that continually feeds the soul. CV
